Housing Market is Cooling

Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke has noted that the housing market is cooling -- home sales and housing construction are slowing. It is important to note that he insists that the cooling looks to be a "very orderly and moderate kind of cooling."

The appreciation of housing in America over the last five years has made Americans feel wealthy. We have been spending more money and helping the economy. One question that remains is what will happen to the economy as the housing market cools.
