An example of good customer service

I’m always impressed by good service.  Few businesses are concerned about providing good service anymore.  They are concerned about making money.  But giving good service is low on the list.

How many businesses recognize the need to give good service even when the payoff is low?

Recently, a pair of my dress shoes fell apart.  I’m going to have them fixed, but because I’m out of town in Florida, I need to have a replacement pair.

I called Bill Whitney from Savile Row Custom Clothiers in Ladue.  I told him about my problem and he immediately overnighted a pair of shoes to me in Florida.  The payoff for Bill is minimal, but I will continue to use him for my clothing needs.

I appreciate his great service and I recommend him.  Bill can be reached at 314 567-8500 or by email at mailto:bill@savilerowstl.com.
