"Survey Shows How Sellers Spend Their Money"
A recent survey by the Home Improvement Research Institute of Tampa Florida showed that approximately half of home sellers invest in home improvement projects when putting their houses up for sale. While most of these projects are undertaken before the property is listed, some sellers actually take on renovations after an offer has been made. Some of the most common improvement projects include replacement of flooring, painting, electrical work, landscaping, and exterior structural changes. Most of the sellers surveyed noted that a desire to improve exterior appearances was major motivator in undertaking these projects. While some improvements can be quite pricey, others can be done inexpensively to increase curb appeal and buyer interest. To read the full article about the survey from RealtyTimes.com, click here.
